GREETING

Dear reader,

Welcome to the first edition of
NEWSBREEZE in 2017. We are
already three months into the year
and we have had some busy months
since New Year.
When I look back on 2016, there is no
doubt that it was a historic year in
shipping – unfortunately in its nega-
tive sense. 2016 showed us the worst
crisis witnessed in 30 years, and
together with our peers we have
fought through a very tough year.
Also 2017 will come with challenges
and our industry is going through a
transition which will likely be chal-
lenging for many. We will undeniably
be part of this transition, but I have no
doubts that SAL will remain one of
the strongest brands in the business.
We will continue to bring Marine
Transport Engineering to the next
level.
